Large natural star sapphire with semi-transparent to translucent body. Rutile silk inclusions are well-aligned to produce a distinct six-rayed star visible under penlight and direct sunlight.

The silk density is sufficient for a clear star without overly clouding the body. Some internal veiling and crystal inclusions visible under magnification, typical of natural unheated Ceylon star sapphire.

The 8.0mm dome height is well-proportioned for star display.
